Our Story
New Life Dental began with a moment Dr. Cho has never forgotten.
When his family immigrated to the United States, they had no dental insurance. One winter, his mother fractured her front tooth in a fall. Unable to afford treatment, she wore a mask to hide her smile for years. A cousin in dental school eventually placed a crown and gave her back her confidence. Dr. Cho watched it happen and knew what he wanted to do with his life.
The name reflects everything that followed. Everyone deserves a second chance. So do their teeth.
Dr. Cho attended middle school, high school, college, and dental school all in Maryland. He lives five minutes from the office. He didn't choose Germantown for the market. He chose it because it's home.
Better Care, Better Results
Informed patients get better outcomes. Every new patient receives a full intraoral scan, high-resolution photos, and an honest conversation about what we find before any treatment is discussed. Dr. Cho uses CBCT imaging, AI-assisted X-ray visualization, and a fully equipped in-house digital lab to accurately diagnose and move efficiently. The goal is simple: you always know exactly where you stand.
Our Dental Lab
Most dental practices outsource their restorations. We build ours in-house.
New Life Dental operates a fully equipped digital lab where Dr. Cho personally designs and 3D prints custom appliances and prosthetics on-site. Current fabrication includes night guards, flipper prosthetics, full-arch fixed dentures, and complex surgical guides, with in-house crown fabrication expanding soon.
For patients, this means faster turnaround, tighter quality control, and fewer appointments to get where you need to be.
A Welcoming Environment
We designed this office to feel nothing like a typical dental office. Every treatment chair comes with a neck support pillow and blanket. Flat screen TVs, Netflix, and music are available throughout your visit. Complimentary water, free parking, and multilingual staff round out an experience built around your comfort, not just your appointment.

Every new patient rates their dental anxiety on a scale of zero to five. For anyone who scores a three or higher, the first appointment has one rule: no procedures. Just a conversation. Dr. Cho gets to eye level, listens to your concerns, and makes one thing clear before anything else: you are in control. If you want to stop at any point, for any reason, you stop. No one here will push you further than you're ready to go.
Oral sedation is available for patients who want additional support during treatment.
